THIS IS FOR YOU IF:
✓ You're trying to eat more vegetarian meals but worry your family won't eat them
✓ You're tired of the "where's the protein?" question (from your partner, your mom, or yourself)
✓ You've tried vegetarian recipes before and they were ... fine, but not "make it again" good
✓ You want real food — not barely-there-quinoa-bowls, sad salads, or "healthy" meals that leave everyone hungry
✓ You need someone to just tell you what to make (and prove it works)
WHAT YOU GET IN THE
FREE High Protein Vegetarian Challenge!
I'm a lifelong vegetarian, mom to a toddler, and the engineer-turned-recipe developer behind Urban Farmie — a vegetarian food blog with over 2 million visitors a year.
I've also eaten my way through 65+ countries, which means I know that vegetarian food doesn't have to be boring. (It also means I've had a LOT of practice convincing skeptical dinner companions that meatless meals can be just as satisfying.)
Why I created this challenge:
I kept hearing the same question from readers: "How do I know we're getting enough protein?"
And behind that question was usually a deeper worry: "What if my family won't eat this? What if I spend all this time cooking and everyone hates it? What if I'm doing this wrong?"
I get it. When I first started cooking for my husband, I had the same fears. Would he feel deprived? Would he secretly wish for his old favorites? Would I have to make two separate dinners forever?
Turns out, he just needed food that tasted good and left him full. Not healthy for the sake of healthy ... just real dinner!
What I've learned:
It's NOT about finding the one perfect recipe that has 30 grams of protein. It's about understanding how to build a satisfying plate — a little strategy, a few smart additions, and suddenly you're not worried about protein anymore. You just... eat dinner.
That's why I created Stack the Plate. It's the guide I wish I'd had years ago — and the one I now use every single night without thinking about it.
More about me:
Before I was a food blogger, I was an engineer and consultant. I like systems. I like things that actually work. And I have zero patience for recipes that sound good but fall apart when real life happens.
These days, I'm cooking with a toddler on my hip, a husband who's hungry now, and about 30 minutes before everyone melts down. So when I say these recipes are family-tested and weeknight-friendly, I mean it. This is what we actually eat.
FAQs
What if my family has dietary restrictions?
Three of the five recipes are vegan, and I include notes for swaps wherever possible.
How much time will this take?
30-45 minutes of cooking per dinner. The daily emails take 2 minutes to read, and the videos are under 5 minutes. This isn't meal prep — it's just dinner.
I'm not a confident cook. Can I do this?
If you can boil pasta and chop vegetables, you can make these meals! I walk you through everything on video. Promise.
What if I miss a day?
No problem! You get the full eBook on Day 1, so all five recipes are yours from the start. There's no "falling behind" — just cook when you can.
I've been vegetarian for years. Is this too basic?
Not at all! If you're looking for new dinner ideas that are family-friendly and high-protein, you'll find value here. The Stack the Plate framework might give you a new way to think about building meals — even if you've been at this a while.
Is this really free?
Yes. The eBook, recipes, shopping list, videos — all free. I'll mention an optional paid resource for anyone who wants to keep going after the challenge, but the challenge itself costs nothing.
